O-MEGASTEEL is a new, high performance stainless steel alloy offering greater polish and shine, as well as superior strength. The extraordinary, lacquered dial has a stunning sense of depth and pays tribute to the mysteries of the deep, with a pattern that accurately represents the bottom of the Challenger Deep – the deepest point in the Mariana Trench, mapped by the Five Deeps team using almost one million sonar points. Framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel, the dial is equipped with luminescent hands and indexes and a time zone function and, when held under UV light, reveals the words Omega was here pointing towards the world record dive of 10,935 metres and showing the Western, Central, and Eastern Pools.
